Finding Your Inner Glow

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend a week every year at a world class retreat center?  In this episode I interview Katresha Moskios, co-owner of The Pearl Laguna.

Located in the canyons of Laguna Beach, California, The Pearl Laguna garners an international clientele. When you listen to Katresha speak, you understand why.

From the integrated pure skin care to the spa cuisine and the transformative emphasis on yoga, hiking, cleansing, and healing The Pearl Laguna is a special place. I had the pleasure of first meeting Katresha when I moved to Newport Beach and began going to YogaWorks. Katresha teaches one jam-packed class each week.  If you have an experienced teacher in any part of your life, you know it’s a wonderful thing. Her approach is holistic, centered on the whole person.  By the end of her class I feel an inner glow and radiance.

Katresha was trained by Indra Devi, the first woman of yoga and has studied exclusively with top energy healers. Her husband and business partner is Geo Moskios, a world renowned yogi and author with an international following.

The Pearl Laguna emphasizes these four pillars of health: exercise, natural diet, rest including meditation, and positive, loving energy.

When you get to what I call the more interesting age and you figure out a bit more about yourself, it’s so wonderful to take time to cleanse your life.
— Katresha
It’s hard to give loving energy to our world when we don’t feel great about ourselves.
— Katresha
Look inside yourself and see the highest expression of you, who you are on this earth at this very moment. See how good you are, see the kindness, the compassion, and the love that you give. You also need to be open to receive love for a beautiful flowing energy. We need to give and be open to receive wonder in our life.
— Katresha
Positive loving energy starts with compassionate thoughts about yourself and then about everyone else.
— Katresha
We can only change ourselves and we can only change the way we look at situations. If it’s not happy, we need to let go.
— Katresha
We are all connected.
— Katresha
We’ve learned to push so hard but we haven’t learned to take time to just relax. We need to do that for the balance of our being.
